🎯 CSGOEmpire Terminal Mode explained
In one sentence: in Terminal Mode, whoever unboxes the most valuable item in the final case wins the battle. Everything before the last round is just a warm-up.
How Terminal Mode works
- Everyone opens the same cases, round by round, just like a normal battle.
- The totals from the earlier rounds don't decide the winner.
- In the final round, the player whose single item is worth the most wins the battle and all the items in it.
That makes every Terminal battle a nail-biter: someone can be far behind for the whole battle and still take everything with one good last pull.
Example: a 1v1 Terminal battle with 4 cases
Rounds 1–3
Player A unboxes 120 coins in total. Player B only 25 coins. In a normal battle, A would be miles ahead.
Final case
Player A pulls an item worth 6 coins. Player B pulls one worth 18 coins.
Result
🏆 Player B wins, because only the final case counts.
Numbers are just an illustration.
How to turn on Terminal Mode
- Go to Games → Case Battles and create a battle.
- Choose battle type and cases. Think about which case you put last, since that's the one that decides the battle.
- Toggle Terminal Mode on in the battle options.
- Create the battle and wait for players to join.
Things to know before you play
- The last case is everything. A last case with a wide spread of item values makes the result very swingy.
- Early rounds still cost money. You pay for every case in the battle, even though only the last one decides the winner.
- It's still random. Terminal Mode changes who wins, not the odds of the items or the house edge.
- Set a limit. The dramatic finish makes it tempting to go again right away.

Who wins in Terminal Mode?
The player who unboxes the most valuable item in the final case of the battle.
Do the earlier rounds matter at all?
They add items to the prize pool, but they don't decide the winner. Only the last case does.
Is Terminal Mode more luck-based than a normal battle?
Both are pure luck, but Terminal Mode is decided by a single opening, so results swing more from battle to battle.
